Presidents Report

Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to be your President for the last year, it has absolutely flown by.
It has been a year with some memorable moments for me; Whitley Chapel with Toybox reaching the Entertainments final at the A.G.M. in Blackpool was one of them. You put on a superb performance and should be proud of yourselves.
Our choir, made up of girls from several clubs and with Ducky as Choirmaster, also made the finals in Blackpool. After brilliantly performing a varied collection of songs they were voted the second best team in England, what a result, well done everybody.
The County Rally followed, hosted by Coquetdale. The weather was kind, the day ran smoothly and the atmosphere was fantastic. Well done to everybody involved.
Another highlight was Cambo and friends winning the National Junior Rugby competition.
Yet another fantastic achievement!
I’ve managed to visit every club in the year and no matter how big or small, you’ve all got great enthusiasm for Y.F.C.
At one club I was introduced as been “Top of the Tree! “ Without roots, however, there would no tree and you the members are the roots.
Everything I’ve seen this year has convinced me that you have very strong roots and I am sure that you as a County will continue to grow.
Lastly I’d like to thank Jo –Jo for being a brilliant Chair and the staff, Darren, Liz, Caroline and Caroline for all their hard work throughout the year.
Northumberland Young Farmers, it has been a privilege and a pleasure; I’ve been proud to have been your President in 2014.
