The weekend of 5^th March saw member head across to Cumbria to take part in the Northern Area Weekend. A good turnout from Northumberland with all but two (Ballroom Dancing and jnr reading) entered).

First of was the Choir, with the Northumberland Girls’ Choir singing ‘Wrecking Ball and Blue Smoke’ coming third. Stamfordham’s ‘A colliers Tuesday Tea’ being performed again coming second behind Brampton, to now be performed again at Northern Eliminators at Retford.

After a very well organised Minion’s Party at Carlisle Auction Mart. The sports competitions took place. First of were Alnwick YFC’s team in the Ultimate Frisbee – coming 3^rd. The final competition of the week was Junior Touch Rugby – with Cambo’s team coming first to go on, to compete in the final in July.
